Extensive Metadata Cataloging

In order to exploit your own archive and make maximum use of your assets, your metadata generation system should be configured to excel in conduct and retrieval.
In Darim MAM you can have infinite metadata fields custom and automated as well as extracted from files.

Secure Archiving

Archived files are sent to client over a secure “tunnel”.
All access to media are done through application layer, no windows or network security is involved.

Security

Since it works on a server-client based architecture, it is possible to create groups and users having different access levels in Darim MAM.
You can set different authorization levels for every action and grant different access rights to central archives.
Darim keeps a track of every action and these action history can be reported for any action or user. Also it is not possible to access a file in the archives from out of Darim MAM.
Draim Library includes user-rights based security. The user rights below can be assigned on Project, Bin, Container, Asset or individual metadata fields (Read, Retrieve, Import, Request, Edit, Delete, Administrator).

Action History

All actions done by users are logged with the following information: action, user, date-time, workstation name. The action log can be filtered for various criteria.

Multiple Projects

Multimedia assets can be organized in projects. Multiple projects can be opened at the same time.

Task Management

Multiple users can work on the same project simultaneously. Your team members can message and assign tasks to each other, based on their security level.
You can send tasks and notifiers to users automatically when pre-defined trigger conditions are met.
You can recreate the entire document workflow of your organization digitally.

In today’s broadcasting industry, multi-format audiovisual content is unavoidable and can easily become a center of problems if you are not provident.
With its built-in transcoder, widest range of popular document, image, audio and video formats are supported in Darim MAM.
It also enables you to convert your existing files to any other format or digitilize your tapes.
Your assets that are stored in Darim MAM are recognized and used flawlessly by the third party applications since Darim supports all of the most common audio video files.
Many different types of search are possible: Search by name, Simple/full text search, Search by rating, Search by category, Complex-custom metadata search, and Frame recognition.

Proxy Generation

In a multi-user media environment, working with high resolution original asset is time consuming and also blocks the traffic capacity severely.
Darim MAM creates low-res copies for every asset for browse and viewing.
With Darim Asset Viewer, you are enabled to view and operate on the media. You can switch between the original and the proxy of the asset.

Ability to work with image sequences

If you are dealing with highest quality video, you will enjoy the privilege of working with image sequences. Darim MAM will present you the whole sequences of the file as a single video and create a proxy in order to enable you to operate on this proxy.

Asset Viewer

Asset Viewer is an applet that will help you to view and do certain operations on the multimedia in Darim MAM (video, audio, image, document).
